CILIA – Community Independent Living Core Skills Development
Project ID: 2025-1-FR01-KA220-ADU-000359849
Funding Programme: Erasmus+ KA220-ADU – Cooperation Partnerships in Adult Education
About CILIA:
CILIA – Community Independent Living Core Skills Development is an Erasmus+ KA220-ADU Cooperation Partnership dedicated to empowering adult educators with the skills, methodologies, and digital tools required to effectively teach Independent Living (IL) skills to People with Disabilities (PwDs). The project brings together six experienced organisations from France, Greece, Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria, and Czechia to address a critical and growing gap in adult education: the lack of structured, digitally-enhanced training frameworks that support PwDs in achieving autonomy and self-determination. CILIA develops a comprehensive suite of resources, including a practical Handbook, 12 e-learning modules, a multilingual Online Platform, an adaptive Mobile App, and two in-person In-Service Training programmes, all grounded in the philosophy of Independent Living.
